Funded Partner insights

We are a learning organisation. We work in partnership with people to understand key issues, explore solutions and create change together, as well as to improve our own practices.

Funding Relationship Managers at Barnwood work with local charities to support them to apply for our funding – for projects and services that help make positive changes happen that are led by them, not by us. Working in partnership in this way, means we gain insights into the barriers and challenges organisations of all sizes are facing in Gloucestershire. This helps us to understand the sector and informs our own future work.

We also work in partnership with local organisations who access our Themed Funding to test and learn what works around a particular issue. By bringing people together who are trying to solve similar problems, we believe we have a chance to learn together and influence bigger change.
