Why do I want to be a Barnwood Trustee? 

I became a Trustee of Barnwood Trust in 2019, as I wanted to become more involved in their work, having seen what they do in Gloucestershire for people with disabilities and mental health challenges. At the time I was volunteering with Barnwood as a Home Visitor and a Trust Governor, so I had some insight into their activities.

 

What experience do I bring to the Trust?

I am registered nurse and have worked in the NHS and Charity sector for over 40 years, more latterly in my career I undertook Director of Nursing and Operations roles in both Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Trusts. I now combine health consultancy work with various volunteer roles.
