What am I responsible for?

My job is to oversee the development of Barnwood’s funding policies in line with our principles and values. I’m also responsible for ensuring we evaluate the impact of our funding programmes and look after the relationships with organisations in the county who receive themed funding from Barnwood.

 

 

What brings me here?

My early career was in conservation, helping people to enjoy wildlife and the countryside: then, working for councils and housing associations, I supported communities by promoting engagement and participation; helping organisations to become more accountable; and helping people to have a voice and to secure the resources they needed.

 

 

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

Relaxing for me means spending time with wildlife: listening to birdsong, watching butterflies and dragonflies and just walking in quiet, wild places. (He/him)
