What am I responsible for?

I take overall responsibility for the work of Barnwood Trust’s Funding and Influencing Team. I work with people across the Trust and externally to make sure our funding programmes are well-run, and to ensure the work we fund has the greatest possibility of teaching the Trust – and others in the county – about how long-term social change in relation to our goals can happen.

What brings me here?

My background is in inclusive project-based funding and project delivery for national organisations, particularly in arts, voluntary and community group contexts. Working in a place-based context at Barnwood really excites me, as the possibility of influencing meaningful change locally is truly within our gift.

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

I love all things arty, especially a good piece of theatre. I enjoy putting the world to rights on a good, long hike with friends. I also love taking the time to cook a big, hearty meal; I find it a very mindful activity, and getting to eat it at the end is an added bonus!
