What am I responsible for?

My role oversees and co-ordinates the work the Trust is doing to change conditions which impact on disabled people and people with mental health conditions across Gloucestershire. I work with colleagues from across the Trust to co-ordinate the delivery of activity, identify opportunities in the work, and consider the challenges we might need to address.

What brings me here?

I started my career supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs in a variety of settings before joining Barnwood Trust in 2016. In addition to my degree in Education Studies, I have completed a Masters in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs. I have personal experience of disability and mental health and am passionate about removing barriers disabled people experience.

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

I really enjoy going for long walks, particularly around the Forest of Dean. I am also a supporter of Gloucester Rugby (which is not great for my wellbeing at times!) and look forward to being able to get back to Kingsholm to watch them live! (He/him)
