Insight Gloucestershire employ a Sight Loss Advisor to find digital solutions for people with sight loss. This was made possible through Barnwood’s Digital Inclusion Fund.

In 2022, we developed a one-off funding initiative, the Digital Inclusion Fund. This was aimed at addressing digital exclusion experienced by disabled people and people with mental health conditions.

One of the organisations awarded funding was Insight Gloucestershire. The funding allowed them to employ a Sight Loss Advisor. This enabled them to carry on supporting people with sight loss to find the best digital solutions for their eye condition – assisting them to live more independently and to connect with family and friends.
